Your Beauty Should Come From the Inside

I surround myself with individuals that inspire me...creatively, professionally, and mentally. My gal, Taylor Sterling is one of those women I look up to. If it weren't for her, I would have never ventured into the blogging world. I love to stay up on her posts, because she helps me stay in tune with current fashion trends. She has done so much research searching for the perfect boutiques and online stores, and I fell in love with one of her finds-Hallelu. If you all haven't realized feathers and sequins excite me...and ironically this chic boutique is from Wrightsville Beach North Carolina. I'd have to say it's a perfect fit for me since I'm Mrs. Wright now...

They recently had a fashion show, that I would have died to do makeup for. The fishtail braids were executed flawlessly! I am convinced I need to learn this technique because it is so adorable. The makeup artist made every look cohesive, soft and glowing skin, precisely lined eyes, finished with an appropriate Holiday red lip.

Be a fan of Hallelu's Boutique on facebook and don't forget to check out Sterling Style!

P.S I love the verse they have posted on their website...

"Do not let your beauty come from the outside.Your beauty should come from the inside. It should come from the heart. This is the kind that last. Your beauty should be a gentle and quiet spirit. In God's sight this is of great worth and no amount of money can buy it." 1 Peter 3:3-4

Did you learn how to do the fishtail braid? I totally wanna learn but I can't even do a french braid ponytail. I can do a french braid in my bangs because I can see what I'm doing, but ponytail is a no go!

I haven't yet :( maybe I will attempt it for Christmas Eve

I saw a styling show where they back combed the braid after it was done just to mess it up and add volume...i tried that and I liked it!
